Swing 1: Intro to SwingGet started with the fundamentals of partnering and 6-count swing (aka Jitterbug or East Coast Swing). This class is perfect for those new to partner dancing, providing a survival pack of fun and easy moves to impress your friends. Prerequisites: No experience required. Swing 2: Intro to Lindy HopJump into some 8-count with this class! Designed to build on the concepts learned in Swing 1, this class will take your swing dancing to the next level and teach you the basics that form the core of Lindy Hop and more advanced 6-count moves. Prerequisites: Swing 1 or equivalent. Swing 3: Essential CharlestonGet your kicks! . . . Here's where you'll learn those fun Charleston variations, including Kick-Through, Hand-to-Hand, and Tandem. Charleston moves are perfect for fast tempos! Prerequisites: Swing 2 Swing 4: Essential ClassicsLearn the Mini-Dip, Groucho, Jig Walks, and other moves that give Lindy Hop its distinctive look. This class will also teach you a variety of turning moves and put you in control of your spins so that the room doesnıt spin faster than you! Prerequisites: Swing 3: Essential Charleston Swing 5: Essential FootworkT'aint Whatcha Do . . . This class will improve the way thatcha do it. Packed full of footwork variations and Jazz movement, this class helps you swing with style. Prerequisites: Swing 4: Essential Classics Balboa 2You asked for it, you got it! Due to overwhelming requests we had to offer this class! Travis & Lorraine will continue where they left off in Balboa 1, providing fun and challenging moves and syncopations to add to your Balboa experience. Prerequisites: Balboa 1 or comfort with the basic balboa step. Bal-Swing ClassicsLearn moves and combinations that should be a part of every Balboa dancerıs repertoire. In this class you will learn moves like Hal's Roll, The Dream, The Dameron, Maxi's Stop Slide and more. Prerequisites: Balboa 1 or equivalent Lindy Hop Jam RoutinesIn this class we will work as a team towards an energetic performance jam piece, with the 1st and last part of the song saved for group choreography and the middle of the song for solos. A partner is required and work outside of the class is expected. Prerequisites: Two essentials classes before this class series begins Tranky DooLearn one of the original jazz dance routines that was performed in the 1940ıs at Harlemıs Savoy Ballroom.
